We are warriors. We are the ones who made it through the day without our dream of a new baby materializing. We held our heads high. We heard the comment that it would be nice if we had another baby to celebrate Christmas with. We held our ground and firmly said that we were working on it and that it would happen in time. We made sure that Christmas was awesome for the one child that we do have, and we made it all about him. Oh, and let's not forget a little birthday shout out to my Homeboy Jesus.
In short, we made it!
